To combat food waste and implement enhanced recycling measures, Fairmont Century Plaza has an ORCA digestive unit on site, which takes food waste and converts it into water waste, reducing the hotel’s landfill contributions.
Built to LEED® Silver standards, Fairmont Century Plaza features include a rooftop green area, water-efficient landscaping, state-of-the-art recycling and composting programs.
Operational waste is reduced through onsite composting, e-waste recycling, and hazardous waste collection (such as batteries and paint).
We are proud to partner with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for their public-private Pacific Coast Food Waste Initiative. The goal of this partnership is to cut greenhouse gas emissions by at least 80 percent by 2050.

I was traveling with my law firm, a group of us. When we arrived, I was told the room would be ready in 30 minutes. It was literally 3 hours later when the room was ready, front desk agent kept telling me she was waiting for final check of the cleaning crew. She then got rude, told me check-in time wasn't until later, but by then I was beyond check in time! There were two of us, front desk manager gave my colleague a $100 bar gift certificate. We needed a room, not a drink!

Expensive room service, doors slam, no bathtub supplies, rude front desk staffer, Elizabeth. It was clean and well designed, though.
I was traveling with my two adult children at Easter. When I checked in, I realized that I had booked a room with two double beds, rather than queen beds. We couldn’t bring in a rollaway. After talking to the manager, Dakota, our guest services assistant, Jem, offered to upgrade us to a one bedroom suite. That room has a king bed and pull out couch. It was a beautiful Room and perfect for our family. The drinks at the bar were also delicious, and the hotel is a short walk to a great mall with many restaurants and shopping. We had a lovely visit.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The room was nicely appointed and had everything One needed for a one night stay to feel like home. The restaurant on site, Lumiere was a comfortable dining experience. Daniel was an exceptional waiter. The following morning, we had the pleasure to have Tako assisting us. She makes a mean cappuccino and a delightful conversationalist.

Everyone very nice !
1.From the front desk checkin no welcome attitude to the checkout no gratitude attitude receiving being annoyed experience. So poor customer treatment. 2. Noise from next staff only room and elevator ring through the night our room #411 3. Poor food quality for breakfast and the small space between the other customers we could hear their conversation the center of the floor space is vacant, not being utilized 4. The ugly red light illuminates at night looks like the love motel ruins the beautiful century city. 5. The long waiting time for the customer services operator after the patient and requesting the weight scale he said that there was in the bathroom so that I hang up but not ther Another waiting time he told me that bringing it to the room and waiting for the scal but never came Another long waiting for the operator asking for the scale Thanks the difference between the first operator and the second one it was brought to my room in the minutes

I stayed at the Fairmont Century City with my daughter for Bruin Day at UCLA. It was my first time at this property. We had originally planned to stay for two nights and I booked on Expedia. I came down with some fun bug on Saturday and needed to get home. Booking through Expedia made canceling a night a little tricky, but the front desk manager was so incredibly nice and called Expedia herself and was able to get me out of a night without getting charged.I can't begin to tell you much I appreciated her help that day. I ended up with a double ear infection and the flu for a week, so getting home was really imperative. I will definitely be back to this hotel. Thanks, Julie L.
